I very often have new ideas. Way too often… But rarely I have ideas that are real bombshells. Something that I’m super excited about, something I’m truly confident in and that’s just making fireworks in my head saying to GO FOR IT. This time, let me share some ideas on how to create your first digital product in 24 hours (instead of procrastinating on it for weeks).

Long story short:
You have to keep the momentum going.
I’ve been in a creative online business for three years. Coming up with new ideas, working on new projects, big or small. The wheel is always rolling. But let’s be honest. The golden ideas don’t come every day. And when they do, you have to keep the momentum going!
Do you know the moment when your blood starts rushing faster? When your heart is beating in your chest like crazy? When your head starts to feel dizzy from all the excitement about your new idea?
THAT is the feeling I’m talking about.
Sometimes you wake up the next morning and feel nothing alike. Other times you overthink it, realizing that you have too many other things on your schedule, you’re already busy enough and you do have other ideas waiting in line…
Here are the two sides of the coin
It’s scary to start creating a product just when the idea hits you because you might be irrational. With all this adrenaline pumping through your veins, you really might be missing the point.
On the other hand. Using all this adrenaline and excitement when it’s fresh out of the oven is THE-BEST. That’s when you don’t doubt yourself, don’t stop to reconsider and just TRUST.
That’s when I suggest you to start creating your first digital product. It's scary to start creating a product just when the idea hits you because you might be irrational. On the other hand, you can use this adrenaline for your own good. Click To Tweet
Why should you consider product creation in 24 hours?
I spent more than 2 months putting together Passive Income Simplified. I’ve been going back and forth with the lessons, I’ve delayed the launch for weeks. I re-did my Sales page around 4 times, doubting myself, going over and over it again.
This project was far from creating a digital product in 24 hours…
And don’t get me wrong! 2 months seem like a decent time to create.
However, sometimes it’s really smart to go through your decisions and strive for the best BUT often we use this time to procrastinate instead of being productive.
The more time we have, the more time we use. Simple as that.
Therefore, many of the big names in online course creation world suggest to pre-sale your products and be loud about your launch dates – so you’d actually keep yourself accountable and knew that there are people waiting for you to come up with the product.
I suggest going beyond that and doing even more.
Take all of the adrenaline and put it to use. DO. Drive your passion. Make your craziest ideas happen. Whether it’s a day or two, dedicate ALL of the time you have to that idea. MAKE – IT – HAPPEN.
It might request some reviews, updates or adjustments later on, of course. Also, not all of the ideas actually can be implemented within 24 hours. But I suggest doing literally ALL you can in this timeframe. And if you can do it all – go for it all.
It’s easier to keep yourself accountable for 24 hours instead of months
In the other sample, I created Blog Creation Simplified. On a Friday evening, just before New Years, when I got a tiny bit more free time, I decided to create a new e-book dedicated to those interested in their own blog creation.
I was so excited about the product that I wrote 9 chapters within a few hours.
The next morning, I edited them and added some graphics. Saved it all. And boom. My new freebie was ready.
And it’s a no-bullshit work I did! That’s my sample of how to create a digital product in 24 hours.
I’ve had a similar experience with other similar projects in the past when product creation in 24 hours worked for me. Whenever I hold myself back and plan it over a big timeframe, the project, most likely, will fail. I will lose the motivation and inspiration, I will literally forget what I was going to say with it…
It’s not for everyone. I totally get that there are people who aren’t interested in creating their projects in somewhat a rush. On the other hand, it’s always worth a try!
4 actionable steps to start your first digital product
STEP #1 Align the project with your general business goals
Before you make the decision to dedicate your time to THAT one project and try out the product creation in 24 hours, make sure to answer a few questions, just to make sure:
- Does it align with your goals?
- Can it be profitable?
- Will it be interesting to your existing audience?
If the answer to all of these questions is YES and you have time to get it going NOW, then clear your schedule and get your hands on that.
If the answer is no to most of the questions, then maybe it really is just the adrenaline driving you forward. After all, it’s crucial to strive for your goals!
STEP #2 Create a simple step-by-step plan
Since you will have a very small timeframe to kickstart your first digital product, there’s no time to doubt.
Just draft a quick step-by-step plan with all the tasks you need to get done. In most cases, some of the tasks will request more than 24 hours. Don’t include them on your list. Make sure to write the plan for your next few hours only.
To create a digital product in 24 hours you have to be prepared to be IN ACTION.
You also might not know all of the tasks right away. And it’s okay. You just have to get started.
STEP #3 Find a way to keep your focus straight
While various ideas work for different people, here are a few things to consider:
- Go 100% offline. No emails, no Facebook, no messages. If there’s anyone you should warn about this – make sure to do that. Then it’s flight mode on and you’re fully focused.
- Inform people you’re living with that you’re working on something huge and won’t have time for them (if that’s possible).
- Use Pomodoro Timer. 20 or 25 mins of hard work (no distractions!) – 5 mins of rest. It’s a great way to keep your focus while staying sane and getting some rest.
- Follow the step-by-step to-do list. Don’t let the panic kick in and don’t try to do it ALL right away. You have the time. And the world won’t stop if some of the tasks won’t get done.
- Get comfortable. Grab a cup of coffee, put on your favorite kind of music, put on pajamas and really just get in the flow.
STEP #4 Start creating!
There’s not much of a secret behind this. I just would love to repeat myself and say – the best way how to create your first digital product in 24 hours is to keep the momentum going. Let the flow take you where you need to get!
Get in the zone and GET THINGS DONE.
